I skipped the 1223 and bought 1224 this year. Be wary on buying from the internet b/c the sizing on this shoe is different than previously. In both the 1221 and 1222, I was an 8. In this shoe, I'm a 9! I ordered the 8.5 and now I have to return it-- even that's too small. The toe box in particular seems a lot tighter than on previous shoes.
