Discount New Balance Men's MW846 Walking Shoe.Bloody Ankles :(By chaznetI've been wearing the MW84x series of walking shoes since the MW843 and have always considered them to be the best I've worn. Great for power-walking or jogging.The MW846's are great looking and well made, however, they've changed the height in back a little over 1/4 inch. As I still have the MW845's, I did a side-by-side comparison.What this translates to form some people, myself included, is the new resting spot of the shoe rubs against the back of your ankle until it starts to bleed. I tried a pair of thin socks, and they wore a hole in them and then starting in on my skin. Thick socks were safer, they just got fuzzy in the back but I wasn't bloodied up.
