I've previously worn the New Balance 1224, but needed some new shoes and decided to try these after reading great reviews about them in Runner's World Magazine. These will be great running shoes for the summer since they're really light-kinda mesh around the toe area. I wouldn't recommend these for cold, snowy conditions.
